A woman's story about her postpartum relationship with her husband

Jessica Hood is a mother of four who blogs under the name House of Hoods where she shares the “relatively inappropriate” side of motherhood, reports the Daily Star.

Writing in a Facebook post, Jessica said she and her husband “couldn't get enough of each other” when they first met.

But when she was pregnant, things changed as the sex she once enjoyed began to 'disappear'. After the baby was born, Jessica and her husband were so exhausted that sex was simply no longer an advantage.

The mother continued: “Eventually, you have sex again and over time your family becomes full, your children start to grow old and there is a glimmer of hope… passion! But not so fast !!! ”.

Jessica said that between work and homework, “her sex life was a window closing at 9:30 pm as you're so exhausted.”

She wrote: “Sex with lights turns on becomes non-existent because life has left you two tennis balls in a pair of socks and a belly blowing.”

And, as spontaneous sex becomes rare, Jessica claimed that no matter what it was, she still had the “best 5 minutes of her life” when she found time to bond with her husband.

She concluded: “Love is deeper than sex and sex will always be there, but your children, but they will eventually grow up and leave the nest leaving you back where it all started.

“So relax and enjoy parenting. Enjoy those rare moments that you only get with each other. ”/ /
