After leaving the royal family, Meghan Markle signs with the film giant

Meghan Markle will do the narrative in a Disney documentary about the elephant, as her first post-Megxit work after Prince Harry inducted her for the job, TheSun reports.

The Duchess of Sussex was confirmed today as the narrator for Disney's new show, “Elephant,” after her husband was filmed as she was suggesting him for a job at the Lion King premiere.

The Disneynature channel announced on Twitter today, writing: “Disneynature Elephant, an original movie broadcast by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, begins airing April 3, only on #DisneyPlus.”

This comes after Prince Harry had shown Meghan's interest in being involved in a Disney boss Bob Iger project at the Lion King premiere in London last July while the couple were still in royal posts.

Meghan is understood to be donating her film profits to a wildlife charity.

The new Disney movie will follow a family of elephants and their journey through the Kalahari Desert to Africa.

The show will be available to air on Disney + from April 3, three days after she and Harry officially depart as royal members on March 31.

Meghan and Harry are now in Canada after leaving the royal family earlier this year.

As part of the Megxit deal, the couple will not be able to use their titles.
