Former NATO Secretary General Javier Solana is infected with a coronavirus



Former NATO Secretary General Javier Solana was admitted to the hospital after being tested for coronavirus on the test, a source told Reuters, adding that his health was improving and he was under observation.

The ABC newspaper first reported on Friday that Solana was hospitalized in Madrid on Wednesday for coronaviruses.



Solana, 77, served as NATO Secretary General from 1995 to 1999; from 1999 to 2009, he was EU High Representative for Foreign Policy; and from 1992 to 1995, the Spanish Foreign Minister in the Felipe government Gonzalez.
