He tried to steal a kg of gold by hiding it in his colon
Security staff at an airport in Kathmandu arrested the 22-year-old after he noticed he was behaving suspiciously and walking in a particular manner, local media reported.
The suspect, named Sa Luitui, had placed gold, worth about 37,000 euros, inside a condom.
How many were caught last Friday at Tribhuvan International Airport as he was crossing security checkpoints, the Nepali newspaper The Himalayan Times reported.
Sa, who had flown from China with Tibet Air, admitted he was trying to smuggle gold.
