Italy has the highest coronavirus mortality in the world, in some regions as much as 6%



The number of deaths from the coronavirus epidemic in Italy has increased to 463, the Italian Civil Protection Agency announced yesterday.

The total number of cases in Italy, the European country hardest hit by the new strain of the virus, rose 24% to 9172, the highest daily increase in that country since the first recorded case on February 21.
