Omani Sultan Kabus bin Said dies



OMAN Sultan Kabus bin Said died Friday night, state media in Oman reported this morning, and a three-day national mourning proclamation was announced in the country.

As Omani state media reported, a three-day national mourning for the public and private sectors has been declared.

The media also issued a statement that the Omani High Military Council on Saturday invited the ruling family to meet to elect a new ruler following the death of Sultan Bin Said.
