The man dressed as the Joker was arrested for terror threats

A man dressed as a Joker comic watchdog has been arrested after he threatened to kill people through a Facebook living app, police say, reports Independent.

Jeremy J Garnier, 51, was charged with terroristic threats and is being held without bail at City University, Missouri.

University City police said they found Mr Garnier dressed as a Joker, complete with face paint, inside a restaurant around 8:15 pm Tuesday.

A City University resident said he would start killing people and after a long hour if there were a thousand spectators, he would “kill more”.

He said: “Yes, I am doing this for attention, but the attention I seek is to take over the world. I will start killing people until it reaches a thousand viewers and after reaching a thousand I will go public and kill more. “

He reportedly told a bartender at the bar inside the restaurant that he did not drink alcohol because “I can't be drunk when I'm planning to kill a bunch of people.”

Garnier identified himself in front of viewers as Jeremy Joseph Garnier and added: “I'm not armed. No weapons for me. I won't do anything. ”
