The Reason Sofia Richie Has Not Joined ‘KUWTK’ Until Now
Sofia Richie has been reluctant to join the cast of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but according to reports, the family coaxed her to finally sign up.
“Sophia was very hesitant to shoot the show, but the whole family really encouraged her to overcome her shyness and just do it. And, she’s very happy she did,” the insider told HollywoodLife.
21-year-old Sofia has been dating Kourtney Kardashian’s baby daddy Scott Disick who is 36. There was rumored to be some tension between Sofia and the family as Kourt was reportedly devasted when they became serious.
The new addition could be the family’s attempt to boost ratings. Sofia was also roped into appearing on Disick’s flop show – Flip It Like Disick after the show bombed.
“The show is a huge part of Scott’s life and if they’re going to be together, it just makes sense for her to take part — so that’s really the main factor in her deciding to do this. And, it’s great for her brand. She’s ambitious, so why not take things to the next level?”
