Srikanth Gowda, from Nallur village in Thirthahalli, has claimed that he was able to protect his crop from pesky monkeys by coloring his 'Labrador' dog with black stripes.
He decided to take precautions, because through tiger-like toys he failed to intimidate primates.
“I have previously tried to put monkey-shaped toys in fields to scare monkeys. But in the long run, coloring the dog would do the job of scaring the animal, ”Gowda told Asia News International.
