VIDEO Hurricane Dorian Reinforces to Category Three, Watch Space Footage

Hurricane Dorian is approaching the US after passing Puerto Rico and the British and American Virgin Islands.

The prognosis of its growth has been strengthened. Thus, yesterday it was expected that the impact would rise to a third category hurricane, while today it is already forecast that a fourth category hurricane will occur by the impact.

Around 8 PM, Hurricane Dorian became a third category hurricane. This means that the winds in it are moving at a maximum speed of 186 km / h.

NASA captured its motion from space:

The strongest hurricane since 1992

It is expected to hit the Florida coast. If it hits the Florida coast as a fourth-category hurricane, it will be the strongest hurricane to hit Florida since 1992, when Hurricane Andrew hit it, CNN reports.

Hurricane Andrew hit Florida in 1992 and was then classified as a fourth category hurricane. However, in 2005, its classification changed and it became a fifth category hurricane.

It killed 26 people.

The Bahamas are expecting a coup

The Bahamas is on guard, especially the northwestern part that Dorian is expected to capture.

It is expected to happen in the next 48 hours. The US NOAA satellite system has captured thunderstorms within a growing hurricane:

Florida is preparing to strike

Meanwhile, Florida is preparing for the coup.

They are trying to protect the power supply system. At least nine universities have closed their campuses opposite Dorian and will remain closed until Tuesday.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recently held a press release confirming that fuel shortages have occurred across Florida and added that authorities are working to fix it.

New York City firefighters are arriving to assist Florida residents during hurricane strikes.

Declared a state of emergency

The governor of Florida on Friday urged residents of that state to provide supplies of food, water and medicines for at least a week and to prepare for a power outage and telecommunications connection as Hurricane Dorian is expected early next week.

“I think it can be said with great certainty that it will be a powerful hurricane,” Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said at a news conference, urging residents to prepare for the “multi-day” storm.

A state of emergency has been declared in Florida, 2,500 National Guard members have been mobilized, and 1,500 are on standby. No evacuation has been ordered yet, but it will be when the route along which the storm will move is known.

A state of emergency has also been declared in 12 districts of neighboring Georgia to help the victims of the storm.

Meanwhile, the eye of the hurricane is clearly visible from space:

National Hurricane Center: Expect strikes starting Sunday morning

The National Hurricane Center closely monitors the movement and development of Hurricane Dorian. They recently reported that Hurricane Dorian will bring strong tropical storm force winds as early as Sunday morning.

They reminded all Florida residents who would be in a hurry to check how much stock they had and make them before it was too late.

In addition, they announce that life-threatening conditions are highly likely not only in Florida but in the northwest of the Bahamas. By this they mean storm surge, that is, raising the water level and dangerous and strong winds.

Such Florida conditions are expected to last several days.
