Wadude urges govt to invest in young artists

FAST-RISING artiste, Omolayo Iyanuoluwa Olamidé aka Wadude has urged the Federal Government to invest in young talents.



Wadude said this recently at his latest release party, ‘Rice After Beans’.

The song, which was produced by Azxxy, has Naya Effects as director of the visuals.



According to the energetic singer and rapper, the government needs to encourage youngsters whose talents can promote the country’s image in a good light.

“The Nigerian Government needs to support artistes by encouraging and sharpening their craft because entertainment is one of the biggest revenue out of this country,” he said.

In 2017, Wadude hit the limelight with his debut single, ‘Catfish’. He followed up with other songs including ‘MS Parker, and ‘Pull Up’ under the imprint of SlaughterHouse Records.

He is well-known for the unique mix of reggae bop, followed by King Kong fingers which got a lot of underground attention and question and Making heavy waves online on various platforms like Audiomack with over 1,000,000 active plays within 3 Months of release.
